There are many ways of assembling a film:
1.) the ANALOG ASSEMBLY: It is practised, either of video tape recorder video tape recorder, or with a base of sophisticated assembly. With the magnetos, please be very synchro; to press on the key pauses, to stop the recording and not on stop (if not, there will be blank tape between the sequences). For my part, this type of assembly becomes long, tedious and the result is of minor quality. Otez thus for the virtual assembly.
2.) the VIRTUAL ASSEMBLY: It is the must! The prices go from 1750 Frs until much more. I acquired a base of virtual assembly DC10+ Pinnacle and I am delighted (it costs 1750 Frs). For this price, one reaches a level of quality excel, and there are many effects of transitions. The only disadvantage of virtual and the fact that one needs a computer (PC or Mac; note that G4 of Mac, are the best for the virtual assembly) and that one must acquire a second hard disk (> to 8 Go).
